This Privacy Policy explains what information Compare Card Makers (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.comparecardmakers.com, and how we use it. We keep data collection to a minimum.
Information we collect
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, connected through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser, pages viewed and the site that referred you. Contact messages
If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use these only to reply to you and to fix any issue you report. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
What we don’t collect
- Comments are turned off, and there are no user accounts for visitors.
- We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We don’t run advertising networks on this site.
Cookies
Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics, plus technical cookies WordPress may set if you log in as a site administrator. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to card makers, print services and official policy pages. Some links to providers include tracking parameters so the destination site knows the visit came from us. Once you leave our site, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep information
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Analytics data is kept under Google Analytics’ data retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email comparecardmakers@gmail.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is written for adults and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
